Job Title: Traffic Light Engineer

Basic Salary: Can be Discussed Depending on Experience (Overtime paid for any out of hours jobs). Workplace pension.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the ITS team at our Newbury depot. This is a varied and hands-on role working with temporary traffic management equipment, traffic signals and customer deliveries.
Previous experience working with traffic signals or within a related industry would be advantageous. Full training will be provided.
We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual with a strong work ethic who enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.. Willingness to work outside of normal working hours from evenings to weekends.
Requirements:
- Working within the highway environment or previous industry experience.
- Driving licence held for a minimum a year and over the age of 21 essential.
- Lantra Qualification (M1/2 Essential, M5 Desirable)
- Outdoor / physical experience
- Flexible working
The role will include but not be limited to:
- Preparing, maintaining and repairing traffic signal equipment.
- Installing and removing traffic light systems.
- Delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites.
- Assisting with the day-to-day running and upkeep of the depot.
- Battery changes and on-site maintenance visits.
- Supporting customers and representing ITS professionally.
- Assisting with stock control and equipment preparation.
Development:
- Full training will be provided.
This role is based out of our Berkshire depot at Newbury, however travel is included within the role.
