Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking to recruit an Experienced Plant Operator to join our highly skilled team based at Pinmore Girvan carrying out work through the South-West Scotland, Central belt and Dumfries and Galloway. We are looking for someone who is ambitious, driven, and self-motivated to join our workforce on a permanent contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ground works, operating plant and plant hire operations. They must hold a valid NOPRS or CPCS card and have hands-on experience operating various plant and machinery. Tractor experience would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a range of plant machinery, including excavators, dumpers, rollers, tractors etc.
- Perform ground works, civils and landscaping works to a high standard and take pride in work.
- Assist with civil engineering tasks, such as drainage, foundations, and utilities installation.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on all equipment.
- Collaborate with management to meet deadlines and project specifications.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Previous experience essential
Full driving licence
Must have the right to work in the UK

- A CPCS or NPORS card is essential
- Reliable plan to commute to work
- Proficient in operating plant machinery
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
- Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and locations
