Childsplay Nursery is a private children's nursery in Morningside, Edinburgh that provides care and education for children, aged 0-5 years. We are looking to employ a nursery apprentice to join our fantastic team. The successful candidate will assist with the day to day activities within the nursery, ensuring the children's wellbeing by offering a high quality environment and experiences.
The successful applicant will be a person who is kind and caring and who has a love of children and a desire to support, nurture and care for children through their early years development. The applicant will be expected to, and supported through, attaining a relevant childcare qualification and to undertake additional training to build a sound knowledge of childcare theory and practices.
The position is a full time vacancy working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 8am-6pm, on a rota basis. Successful candidates will be expected to register with the PVG scheme, register with SSSC and supply 2 references, 1 of which must be your last or current employer (you will be notified before referees are approached).
