Duties
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Support clients with medication reminders and monitor their health as outlined in care plans
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ mental well-being
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including updates on client condition and any changes observed
- Use your driving skills to safely transport clients to appointments or social activities when needed
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a safe environment for both clients and yourself
Skills
- Valid driving license with reliable access to a vehicle for home visits and client transportation
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is highly desirable
- Ability to understand and implement detailed care plans tailored to individual needs
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and updating electronic records
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring attitude and patience when supporting vulnerable individuals
- Good organizational skills to manage schedules and prioritize tasks efficiently

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
