Double Puc Cafe is a friendly independent cafe in the Bristol.

Summary of Position
As a Kitchen Team Member, you will work alongside the team in preparing and making a range of fresh sandwiches, salads and cookies. You should have a good eye for detail and presentation in terms of making our sandwiches & salads look and taste fantastic and have a natural ability to work well with others in a challenging but friendly environment.
Catering: Support when needed
On the catering side you may be needed to assist the dispatch and organisation of our catering orders with the cafe & kitchen manager. This will include bringing catering orders together and or overseeing the dispatch of them. A close and positive working relationship with the front of house team is a must to ensure everything goes well.
You will, with training, have a complete working knowledge of all back of house systems including Rocket OS (our hospitality operating system)

Food & Coffee
- Passion for well prepared and carefully made food with an eye for detail in the presentation of our dishes.
- In-depth understanding of our menu and all the correct methods of production and service.
- A sense of confidence and pro active approach to maintaining standards across the menu.
- Ensure that all food that leaves the kitchen is made to the highest of quality and presentation standards.
- Ability to assist in other areas of the business if needed in an emergency.
Oversight & Management
- Help manage workload effectively across the section so that the kitchen is calm and prepared, even at high volume periods.
- Communicate effectively so that daily tasks are done to the highest of standards and in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all H&S requirements are met and that Best Practice Methods are adhered to, in order to maintain our 5 star rating.
