Fridays & Saturdays: 10:00am-7:30pm Sundays: 10:00am – 6:30pm
Monday 21st - Thursday 24th December 10:00am – 6:30pm
Rate of Pay: £20.00 per hour
Main objective Play the role of Father Christmas in a truly unique grotto experience at one of the UK’s loveliest Christmas Markets. Deliver a memorable performance as Father Christmas that will to instil the magic of Christmas for visitors to our grotto.
Job Description
The trepidation and excitement of Christmas is magical for all children. It’s a wonderful time of the year and at the heart of their experience is you. Every year our Grotto sees hundreds of children and each time they leave with smiles on their faces.
From the moment you step into the suit you’ll be totally focused on the job at hand, regaling stories from the North Pole and asking children about their Christmas list in our unique Harbour Themed Grotto.
The aim of our Grotto is to surprise and delight and is experience led with each child/family getting 5minutes with our Harbour themed Father Christmas, rather than making the gift the centre of the experience.
Whatever question the children ask, you’ll ensure that the magic is sprinkled, and the anticipation of Christmas Eve is heightened. You’re confident, kind, and jolly nature will be backed by the ability to say “Ho, Ho, Ho” with plenty of enthusiasm.

Excellent communication and customer care skills
Acting skills. Desirable requirements: Previous experience of working with children
Previous acting / entertainment experience
