About the Role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrical Tester & Inspector to join our growing team. The role involves carrying out electrical inspection and testing of domestic properties, completing certification, and undertaking any necessary remedial works to ensure installations are compliant, safe, and meet current regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out electrical inspection and testing of domestic and commercial installations.
Complete Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and all relevant certification.
Identify faults and carry out remedial works where required.
Ensure all work complies with the latest BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and health & safety standards.
Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Work independently for the majority of the time, with occasional work alongside other electricians on larger projects.
Requirements
Gold Card (ECS) in date & 2391 Inspection & Testing are requirments
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Experience carrying out EICRs, inspection and testing, and remedial works.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong fault-finding skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team when required.
Will be Predominately T&I but occasionally delivering support the team with other works.
Pay: £45,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Birmingham (West Midlands)
