Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a professional sports club based in Edinburgh as a Media Manager.
We’re looking for a creative and driven individual to lead the club’s digital presence, creating engaging content and managing social media across multiple platforms.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone looking to get involved in the sports industry and build valuable experience in sports media, content creation and digital marketing.
Working closely with the club’s leadership team, you’ll play a key role in growing the club’s online presence and engaging supporters throughout the season.
Responsibilities
- Manage the club's social media channels.
- Work closely with players, coaching staff and club partners to create engaging content.
- Plan, create and schedule engaging content.
- Attend home matches and selected club events to capture photo and video content.
- Produce short-form video content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
- Write captions, matchday updates and club announcements.
- Monitor social media performance and identify opportunities for growth.
Skills
- Experience managing social media for a brand, organisation or sports club.
- Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.
- Strong photography and videography skills.
- Ability to edit short-form video content.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- A proactive, creative approach with strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends around fixtures when required.
