We’re Ortus Cleans, a small, family run cleaning company based in Skipsea, covering Hull and East Yorkshire. We’re not a big faceless firm. We’re a close team who take real pride in our work and treat our clients’ homes the way we’d want our own treated.
We’re looking for a part time cleaner to join us, working across a real range of jobs. Most of our work is in people’s homes and properties, and we’re growing our deep cleaning side, so there’s genuine variety here and the chance to be trained up in higher skilled work. If you’ve got a good eye and take pride in a job done properly, we’ll teach you the rest.

Duties
- General domestic cleaning to a high, consistent standard
- Deep cleans, end of tenancy and after builders cleaning for homes and new developments
- Holiday let turnovers, getting properties guest ready to a tight standard
- Commercial cleaning for local business clients
- Working to a checklist and spotting the small details most people miss
- Working both on your own and alongside the team
- Travelling between jobs across East Yorkshire and Hull
- Looking after the equipment and products provided to you
Experience and about you
- Previous cleaning experience is essential, whether domestic, professional or holiday lets. You already know how to clean to a high standard
- Deep clean and end of tenancy experience is a bonus, but not essential. We’ll train you in our methods, so it’s your existing standard and your eye that matter most
- Strong attention to detail. You notice the bits others walk past
- Reliable. You turn up when we need you and do what you say you will
- Physically up to the work. Cleaning means being on your feet, bending and lifting throughout the day
- A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle, as jobs are spread across the area
- A DBS check, or willingness to undergo one. You’ll be working in people’s homes, so this is essential
- Friendly, honest and trustworthy. Our clients know us by name, and that trust matters
- Flexible. We’ll work around you where we can, but some weekend work will be needed
Pay: From £13.10 per hour
