About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced sales advisor to join our team, specialising in UK and European Breakdown Cover.
You will be responsible for selling breakdown and recovery solutions to a wide range of customers, from private motorists through to commercial fleets and haulage operators. Our products cover everything from personal cars and vans to commercial vehicles up to 44-tonne HGVs, including liaising with our broker network.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated salesperson who enjoys building customer relationships, identifying customer needs, and helping businesses and individuals find the right level of protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Selling breakdown cover products to both private and business customers.
- Advising customers on UK and European breakdown and recovery options.
- Generating new business opportunities and following up on leads.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable cover.
- Maintaining accurate customer records including updating policy adjustments.
- Working closely with colleagues to achieve team and business targets.
- Providing excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Previous sales experience, preferably within breakdown cover, insurance, automotive, vehicle recovery, fleet services, or a similar industry.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- A willingness to learn and develop product knowledge.
