About Pink Dusters
Pink Dusters is a friendly, established domestic cleaning agency providing regular cleaning services to residential clients in the local area.
We are looking for reliable, friendly and hardworking self-employed cleaners to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible, daytime work that fits around other commitments, with no evenings or weekends required.
You will work in our clients’ homes carrying out regular domestic cleaning. Where possible, we aim to provide cleaners with the same regular clients each week, allowing you to become familiar with each home and the client’s individual requirements. However, regular clients and hours cannot always be guaranteed.
You can choose to work independently or as part of a pair, depending on your preference and availability.
Typical duties include:
- General household cleaning
- Dusting and polishing
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
- Cleaning internal surfaces
- Emptying bins
- Changing bed linen when required
- Other general domestic cleaning tasks as requested by the client
Oven cleaning is not part of the role.
Cleaning products, equipment and vacuum cleaners are provided, so you do not need to supply your own.
What we’re looking for

- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly, polite and comfortable working in clients’ homes
- Trustworthy and professional
- Able to work independently and manage their time effectively
- Thorough, with excellent attention to detail
- Physically able to carry out general domestic cleaning duties
- Able to commit to a minimum of 2 regular weekdays per week
- Available between approximately 9:00am and 2:30pm
- Able to drive and have access to their own vehicle to travel between clients
Previous cleaning experience is preferred, but it isn’t essential as full training will be provided. A positive attitude, reliability and high standards are just as important to us.

Important information
This is a self-employed subcontractor position, not an employed role. Pink Dusters operates as an agency, arranging cleaning work with residential clients for our self-employed cleaners.
As you will be travelling between clients’ homes, a driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
