Multi-Skilled Operative – Preston
£20.00 per hour (CIS) | Immediate Start | 6+ Months Work
TimesGroup Ltd is looking for experienced Multi-Skilled Operatives to join our team on a large apartment refurbishment project in Preston.
This position would suit a time-served Painter who is capable of completing patch Plastering works, or a fully qualified Plasterer with some painting and decorating experience.
Candidates with experience completing bathroom and kitchen installs are also encouraged to apply.
Start Date: Monday 20th July 2026
This is a long-term opportunity with a minimum of 6 months' work on this project, with further projects available for the right operatives.
Duties include:
- Patch plastering and making good
- Internal painting and decorating
- Kitchen fitting
- Bathroom installation works
- General finishing works
- Preparing apartments for handover
- Working alongside other trades to maintain programme
Requirements:
- Proven experience in patch plastering and painting/decorating
- Own plastering and painting tools are essential
- Own transport preferred
- Valid CSCS Card
- Ability to work to a high standard with minimal supervision
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
