About the Role
Disney+ is The Walt Disney Company’s Direct to Consumer video entertainment service. The service consists of long form and short form video built around six key content brands (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Hulu) with an appealing and easy to use interface accessed across multiple platforms (e.g. televisions, mobile devices, PCs).
The Disney+ team is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Disney+ across Europe, Middle East and Africa, specifically focused on marketing, customer acquisition and retention, partnerships and synergy, content programming, research and analytics.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Data Scientist to join our Disney+ Analytics & Insights EMEA team. The purpose of this role is to work collaboratively alongside functional EMEA Analytics teams (Content, Subscriber Growth, Local) and wider business leads to deliver robust data science projects and models. Sitting within the Data Science team there will be a focus on forecasting of customer trends and engagement as well as ad hoc modelling to gain additional insight from our vast customer data.
This role will leverage excellent technical, storytelling and communication skills, as well as the ability to work cross-functionally to identify business needs and deliver data science projects across EMEA.
This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home.

What you will do
Drive the development, design and implementation of the engagement forecast model. End-to-end involvement from data collection, algorithm development and forecasting. Play a key role in collaborating with stakeholders, communicating insights and productionalising results. Continuously explore ways to improve the methodology and the model accuracy
Required Qualifications & Skills
Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with 4+ years of experience in data science-related roles
