The opportunity
Join an in-house performance marketing team at a business specialising in high-volume lead generation within the financial claims sector. Paid social is central to growth, with a strong focus on disciplined testing, clear reporting and scalable customer acquisition.
You will take day-to-day ownership of Meta campaigns across Facebook and Instagram, optimising and scaling activity to deliver consistent, compliant lead volumes at target efficiency. This role suits a hands-on paid social specialist who is comfortable managing significant budgets, moving at pace and making confident decisions from performance data.
What you'll ownCampaign management and growth
- Plan, launch, manage and scale Meta lead-generation campaigns across Facebook and Instagram.
- Build and maintain campaign structures designed for volume and performance, including testing frameworks, budget allocation and clear scaling rules.
- Optimise against core KPIs such as cost per lead, cost per acquisition, conversion rate and lead-quality indicators.
- Manage prospecting and retargeting audiences, exclusions and funnel segmentation to improve efficiency.
- Monitor performance daily and make timely, data-led changes to stabilise and improve results.
Creative testing and measurement
- Run a structured programme of creative testing across angles, hooks and formats, and turn performance insights into clear briefs for creative resources.
- Maintain strong tracking and attribution hygiene across events, Meta Pixel and Conversions API where applicable, UTMs and landing-page signals.
- Identify risks and opportunities early, including creative fatigue, audience saturation, rising costs and available scaling headroom.
Reporting and collaboration
- Own reporting for campaign pacing, spend, CPL/CPA, trends and test outcomes.
- Provide clear daily and weekly performance updates to the Head of Digital, explaining what changed, why it changed and what happens next.
- Build and maintain straightforward dashboards and spreadsheets with accurate, consistent reporting habits.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders so lead flow supports operational capacity and commercial objectives.
What you'll bring
- Two to four years of hands-on experience managing Meta paid social campaigns end to end.
- Clear evidence of managing Meta ad spend of £50,000 or more per month.
- A proven record of running and scaling performance-led lead-generation campaigns.
- Strong working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, including objectives, optimisation events, placements, budgeting and bidding approaches.
- The ability to own performance numbers and turn them into actions without relying on analysts for day-to-day interpretation.
- Confidence working in a fast-moving, commercially focused environment with daily optimisation expectations.
- Clear stakeholder communication, strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to targets.
Desirable experience
- Experience in a regulated or compliance-sensitive sector, such as financial services, claims or insurance.
- Familiarity with lead-quality feedback loops and downstream, post-lead performance indicators.
- Strong creative-performance judgement for direct-response lead generation.
