Data Clerk and Administration - Band 3 ( PERMANENT)
Monday - Friday (sociable hours only) 24 hours per week.
The Data Clerk/Administrator will provide high-quality administrative and data management support to the service, ensuring accurate and timely critical care data collection, input and reporting. Previous administration experience is essential. Applicants must hold GCSEs in English and Mathematics (Grade A–D/Grade 4–9 or Functional Skills Level 1 equivalent). Some of the duties include:
Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Maintain accurate records in line with GDPR requirements.
Deliver a high standard of clinical audit.
Extract data from a range of sources, including admission books, OASIS, SUNRISE, patient notes and the Patient Data Management System (ICCA).
Interpret physiological data and information relating to therapies used within the Critical Care setting.
Input and maintain data within the Intensive Care National Audit & Research Centre (ICNARC) database.
Extract, correlate and input data for the Critical Care Minimum Dataset (CCMDS).
Validate Critical Care activity data.
Provide weekly activity reports to the Clinical Service Lead.
Collect and submit quarterly statistics as required by ICNARC.
