Overview
We are currently seeking a Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team in a bustling restaurant setting. As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall dining experience.
Duties
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously
- Upsell menu items and promotions to enhance customer experience
- Assist in basic food preparation when required
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the front of house area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant environment is desirable
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with customers effectively
- Basic maths skills for processing orders and handling payments
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Willingness to assist in the kitchen during peak times
- Holds a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate or willing to get one
