Customer Service Assistant – Petrol Station & Convenience Store
We are looking for friendly, reliable and hardworking Customer Service Assistants to join our busy 24-hour petrol station and convenience store team.
Both Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and professional customer service Serve customers efficiently at the till Process cash, card and fuel transactions accurately Authorise fuel pumps safely and monitor the forecourt Follow procedures to help prevent fuel drive-offs and shoplifting Check ID and follow Challenge 25 procedures for age-restricted products Replenish stock and maintain good product availability Face up shelves and keep the store well presented Check product dates, reductions and stock rotation Keep the shop, till area and forecourt clean and tidy Receive and work deliveries when required Promote relevant customer offers, loyalty schemes and promotions Follow all company, health & safety and security procedures Complete other reasonable duties required during the shift
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly and confident with customers Reliable, punctual and hardworking Good communication skills Able to work well as part of a team Comfortable working in a busy retail environment Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends Previous retail or petrol station experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
