About the Role
As our Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be the backbone of our campus infrastructure. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of mechanical building services across the entire college estate.
From keeping the classrooms warm in the winter to ensuring the taps run clean, your work directly contributes to the wellbeing of our learners and staff, as well as the college’s commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.
The ability to use the Welsh language at a basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable.
Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will not be treated less favourably than applications submitted in English.
Requirements & Compliance
Safeguarding: Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and EWC registration (costs covered by the candidate).- Qualifications: Lecturers must hold or be willing to achieve a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) within a set period.
