**Fixed Term 6 Months Position**
We are seeking a dynamic and attentive Night Porter to ensure the safety, security, and comfort of our guests during overnight hours. This vital role involves managing the front desk operations, providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining a secure environment throughout the night. Duties
- Welcome and assist guests arriving during nighttime hours with warmth and professionalism
- Perform a detailed list of cleaning tasks around the hotel and pool area including but not limited to Gym equipment, public areas, Pool and Spa facilities, changing rooms and public toilets
- Prepare our Grab and Go breakfast to ensure service is ready to go for the AM shift
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries
- Maintain security by monitoring CCTV cameras, conducting patrols, and controlling access points
- Respond promptly to guest requests, emergencies, or concerns with a positive attitude
- Ensure all phone calls are answered courteously following proper phone etiquette
- Keep detailed records of nightly activities, incidents, and visitor logs
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any issues or safety concerns
Skills
- Multilingual or bilingual proficiency to communicate effectively with diverse guests
- Strong guest services skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent phone etiquette and professional communication abilities
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of security procedures and CCTV monitoring techniques
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated flexibility and responsiveness in handling unexpected situations
