Day and sleep in Support Worker's needed for a small residential home in Cromer.
Part and full time roles available for days / evenings (from £12.80 PH) to include sleep ins (@ £70.47 per sleep in).
Support workers are needed to join our small staff team supporting service users with learning disabilities and associated needs, to manage their personal, social and health needs as required. Working within agreed guidelines, policies and procedures and following instruction as determined by senior staff and the management team.
You will be working alongside families and friends of the people you are supporting as well as health and social care professionals to ensure people are supported to lead the lives they choose.
Main duties and responsibilities
To support service users with personal care, housework, preparing and cook meals, daily activities, appointments, finances and medication in a respectful person centred way, ensuring at all times you are maintaining the persons dignity, privacy and rights.
Working alongside the staff team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the home.
To work flexibly to meet peoples support needs, ensuring support is provided as required. Support and guidance will be provided from senior staff and management team.
To ensure records are completed as required.
To complete mandatory training as delegated by the management team with further opportunities for continual professional development such as NVQ's available.
Drivers license is not required but desirable.
