The Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Swimming Teachers to join our growing team in Ascot for Mondays after school (4:00pm-6:00pm).
You will deliver engaging, safe and progressive swimming lessons to children and, where required, adult learners, ensuring every swimmer receives high-quality instruction in a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver swimming lessons appropriate to participants' age and ability.
- Create a safe, inclusive and enjoyable learning environment.
- Promote water safety and confidence in the water.
- Monitor swimmer progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate attendance and lesson records.
- Follow all safeguarding, health and safety and emergency procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support swimmer development.
- Report any safeguarding or welfare concerns immediately in accordance with company procedures.
About You
Essential:
- Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification (or equivalent recognised qualification).
- NRASTC or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and developing swimmers of all abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding children and maintaining high professional standards.
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
Desirable:
- Long-term consistency.
- Experience teaching a range of ages and abilities.
- Experience working with children with additional needs.
