We’re recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work across welcoming SEND schools in Sittingbourne and surrounding areas, supporting children with a range of additional needs.
This is a great opportunity for experienced LSAs and TAs, as well as care workers, youth workers and others with transferable experience who are passionate about helping young people thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing
Depending on the school and pupils you support, your day may include:
- Supporting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and additional needs
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support
- Helping pupils engage with classroom learning
- Supporting sensory, creative and outdoor activities
- Encouraging confidence, independence and positive behaviour
- Working alongside teachers and specialist staff
- Celebrating the small achievements that make a big difference

Who We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have experience supporting children or vulnerable adults
- Have worked in education, care, youth work or a similar environment
- Are patient, reliable and adaptable
- Can build positive relationships with pupils quickly
- Are confident working as part of a team
- Hold an Enhanced DBS or are happy to obtain one
