Job description
We're looking to add strength to our vacuum casting and finishing part of the business. Here, we produce parts for a wide variety of customers from all industries and they need to be finished to an extremely high standard. Often we are producing parts that our customers use for their end use so the standard required is very high. We pride ourselves on being among the best in the UK for this but we know we have to maintain that standard.

- Can work methodically on their own or part of a close knit team
- Able to shoulder some responsibility with a positive attitude
- Can follow and repeat detailed instructions
- Creative thinker and problem solver
- Have a desire to uphold excellent quality in all their work
- Take pride in what they do
- Someone who has previous experience of detailed finishing of parts would be desirable
- Ideally have experience working in an engineering type environment
- Ideally understands inspection procedures
- Good IT skills
The job will involve:
- Learning to run the vacuum casting processing equipment
- Creating production parts for customers
- Trimming and finishing plastic parts
- Post Processing parts built on our 3D printing machines
- Inspecting and packing parts ready for shipping
- Being part of the wider workshop team delivering exceptional quality prototypes and low volume production parts to our customers
- Shift work as required
