Maris Interiors are one of the UK’s leading design and build experts. With over 47 years of experience, we specialise in workplace design, fit-out, refurbishment, relocation and furniture. We are now seeking a detail-focused and technically skilled Furniture Estimator to join our furniture team.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Furniture, you will play a key role in the commercial success of our furniture projects, preparing accurate cost plans, securing competitive supplier pricing and supporting the delivery of high-quality workplace environments for our clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
Produce and maintain detailed furniture cost plans using Excel
Provide technical input to support sales and design teams
Liaise with manufacturers for accurate quotations and procurement
Manage purchasing, including order placement, revisions and documentation
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience estimating commercial furniture projects
Strong understanding of furniture
manufacturers, products and specifications
Advanced Excel skills and strong numerical ability
Ability to interpret drawings, schedules and specifications
Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
