Romanian-Speaking Business Development Manager (Field Sales)
£28,000-£32,000 basic salary + uncapped performance bonus. London, field based. This is not an office based role.

We are recruiting on behalf of a well established student recruitment company, that gets adults living in the UK into foundation year and degree programmes at partner universities, funded through student finance.
We're hiring a Romanian speaker to go into the Romanian community in London and build a network of freelance student recruitment consultants.
Each consultant you find will earn £600 to £1,000 for every student they successfully refer who enrols. Your job is to find the consultants, sign them up, train them, and keep them producing.
You will not process applications or handle admissions. Our existing teams do that. You build the network of consultants.
The offer you'll be making
This is not a hard sell. You'll be walking into Romanian shops, cafés, salons, garages, churches, agencies and WhatsApp groups and telling people:
- They can earn £600-£1,000 per student they refer to us
- The more students they refer, the higher their rate goes
- They don't need qualifications, a company, or any prior experience
- We train them, and we handle every part of the process after the introduction
- Payments are released in stages, in line with when the university receives tuition funding
Plenty of people in the community already know ten, twenty, fifty adults who would go to university if someone showed them how. Your job is to find those people and turn them into earners.
What you'll actually be doing
On the street majority of your week
- Walking into Romanian-owned businesses across London and introducing yourself
- Meeting shop owners, agency owners, accountants, community leaders, pastors, event organisers
- Attending Romanian community events, markets, church gatherings and social events
- Sitting down with potential consultants and signing them up face-to-face
On the phone and online
- Finding Romanian businesses, groups, pages and creators on Google, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn
- Cold calling, WhatsApping and messaging prospects
- Getting into Romanian Facebook and WhatsApp groups and working the admins
Running your network
- Onboarding and training the consultants you sign
- Keeping them active: chasing, motivating, following up
- Running local information events with your consultants to bring students in
Targets
This role carries a sales target from day one. You'll be measured on:
- Consultants signed: monthly target
- Consultants activated (producing at least one real referral): monthly target
- Students referred through your network: monthly target
- Students enrolled: your primary target, and what your bonus is paid on
Signing 50 people who never send a student is a failure. What matters is how many of your consultants are actually producing students who fully enrol and study at university.
Who this is for
- Fluent Romanian speaker with strong English. This is a hard requirement
- Comfortable walking into a business cold and starting a conversation
- Background in field sales, door-to-door, agency recruitment, community outreach, or running your own business
- Already connected in the Romanian community in London, or confident you can be within weeks
- Wants to be paid on results
- Happy travelling across London daily

Student recruitment experience is not required. We'll train you on the universities, courses and funding.
