We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and an understanding of the importance of maintaining high standards in hotel cleanliness.
Duties
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising bathrooms.
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure all rooms are fully equipped for guests.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly after use.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitising rooms in accordance with hotel policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Physical stamina is required as the role involves standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £29,008 per year (Live out). A live in position could be available on a live in wage.
Expected hours: 40 per week over 5 days to include weekends
Part time hours on a part time wage available.
