Overview
Are you an experienced HR Advisor or Consultant ready to take the next step in your career?
AW Safety – a leading provider of Health, Safety, and Training services is expanding and launching a new Human Resources division as part of its continued growth.
Our vision is simple: “We help businesses keep people safe.” We achieve this by supporting business owners to stay in control of every aspect of their organisation, including their people.
The Role
Due to increased demand, we’re looking for a commercially focused HR Consultant to join our team and deliver practical, business-minded HR support to SME clients across a range of sectors.
You’ll work directly with business owners and leadership teams to:
- Assess each client’s situation and desired outcomes.
- Provide clear, pragmatic advice grounded in employment law and real-world business experience.
- Present clients with options – not obstacles – to help them achieve their ideal result.
- Deliver tailored HR documentation, advice, and in-person support as needed.
This is not a role for someone who wants to quote legislation and hide behind policy. We’re looking for someone who can combine technical HR expertise with commercial acumen, helping clients make confident, informed decisions that balance compliance with business practicality.
About You
You’ll be a confident HR professional with:
- Proven experience in HR advisory or consultancy roles, ideally supporting SMEs.
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best practice.
- The ability to deliver pragmatic, outcome-driven solutions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, client-first mindset and a focus on results over red tape.
- Degree qualified or CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above)
Why AW Safety
