We are looking for a reliable, practical and hardworking person to join us in a varied part time role.
This would suit someone who enjoys being hands on and is happy to turn their hand to a range of different jobs. No two days will necessarily be the same.
Duties may include:
- General handyman and basic maintenance jobs
- Painting and decorating
- Gardening and outdoor work
- Cleaning and general upkeep
- Moving furniture and equipment
- Small repairs and odd jobs
- Helping to keep properties and outdoor areas clean and well maintained
The role will involve carrying out work across our properties as required. When maintenance or other jobs are not needed, you will work within one of our care homes, supporting the team with general non clinical duties and helping wherever needed.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Practical and able to work independently
- Flexible and willing to help with different tasks
- Friendly and comfortable working within a care home environment
- Respectful around older people and vulnerable adults
- Able to use their own initiative
- Ideally able to drive
Part time hours with flexibility required.
Previous maintenance or handyman experience would be useful, but we're more interested in finding the right person with a good attitude and strong work ethic.
