We are currently looking for two new part-time members of Bar Staff to join our team at The Ancient Mariner in Poets Corner!
This role offers an opportunity to work in a relaxed pub environment alongside an experienced management team, and within a venue committed to providing quality food and drink, a diverse programme of live music, and excellent service to ensure our guests always have a memorable experience.
We would like to hear from candidates who already have at least six months of relevant experience in a bar or restaurant setting, and we can also offer the opportunity for professional growth within our wider organisation (Laine Pub Co) for the right applicant.
Please also note that all of our team here also work the occasional shift in the kitchen, prepping food or washing up, so if you are applying for this job you must be prepared to occasionally work shifts in all parts of our business.
These roles will commence in September with a starting rate of £13/h, to be reviewed after a probationary period, and the position is for 18-24h per week, so typically 3-4 shifts per week which will mostly be from Thursday to Sunday.
We can also consider the right applicants for the role of Bar Supervisor which entails more responsibilities, training, solo working and a higher rate of pay as well as more hours.
