Job Overview
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to join our friendly team at Park Lodge Hotel in Aberystwyth.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for guests. You’ll play an important part in ensuring our bedrooms and public areas are maintained to a high standard and ready for guests to enjoy.
We can offer part-time hours or up to 30 hours per week, depending on availability, and welcome applications from candidates looking for either option.
Previous housekeeping experience would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential – we’re equally interested in people with a great attitude, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms to a high standard
- Making beds and changing linen and towels
- Cleaning bathrooms and replenishing toiletries and guest supplies
- Vacuuming, dusting and maintaining cleanliness throughout bedrooms and public areas
- Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or lost property
- Ensuring housekeeping equipment and supplies are stored safely and correctly
- Following hotel cleaning, hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Working efficiently to ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests
- Supporting other members of the housekeeping team during busy periods
What We’re Looking For

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A friendly and professional manner
- Flexibility to work across the week, including weekends where required
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
