About the role:
As a Claims Handler, you'll play a vital role in supporting customers when they need us most. From the first notification of a claim through to its successful resolution, you'll take ownership of each case, providing reassurance, guidance, and a seamless customer experience every step of the way. You'll collaborate with customers, insurers, suppliers, and colleagues across the UK to ensure claims are managed efficiently, professionally, and with care.
What you’ll do:

Managing and processing customer claims from initial enquiry through to settlement.

Reviewing and setting up new claims while ensuring all information is accurately recorded.

Communicating with customers through inbound and outbound calls, emails, SMS, and automated claims systems.

Providing regular updates and ensuring customers are contacted via their preferred communication method.

Reviewing policy cover and ensuring the correct information reaches the right people.

Appointing contractors and coordinating claim-related activities.

Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.

Prioritising workloads and diary tasks to ensure service level agreements are met.

Issuing payments to policyholders and suppliers for claim settlements.

Resolving claims-related queries and escalating complex cases where appropriate.

Working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and supporting wider business growth.

Processing payments in relation to settlements.

- Experience in customer service, claims handling, administration, or case management.
- Excellent communication skills across phone, email, SMS, and digital channels.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- A proactive problem-solver with great attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.
