Warehouse Operative Assistant

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative Assistant to join our team. You will be a key part of the day-to-day operations of the branch. You will work within a supportive and safety-focused environment, helping our team provide the best possible service to our customers. Immediate start required
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and store goods accurately in the correct locations.
- Prepare customer orders according to sales requirements and load them onto vehicles.
- Sign for deliveries
- Maintain accurate stock records.
- Monthly stock take of factory goods
- Recording accurate stock reports/levels
- Build positive relationships with customers at the collection and returns point.
- Be flexible and assist with stocktaking and overtime as required.
Skills and Experience:
- A valid Forklift Licence would be an advantage
- Good data accuracy, numeracy, and basic IT skills.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or yard role is advantageous.
- A flexible and adaptable approach with a can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A customer-oriented mindset and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

- Salary £12.71 p.h.
- 20 days holidays + 8 bank holidays. Company closed during Christmas period.
