Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to manage the daily operations of our Rugby distribution centre.
The successful candidate will be responsible for warehouse operations, team management, inventory accuracy, productivity, health and safety, cost control and customer service.
Main Responsibilities
· Manage daily warehouse operations, including goods-in, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and stock control.
· Plan staffing, workloads, warehouse space and operational priorities.
· Lead and manage permanent and temporary warehouse employees.
· Manage rotas, attendance, holidays, absences, overtime and staff cover.
· Monitor warehouse productivity, quality, labour costs and customer service KPIs.
· Maintain accurate stock records using the warehouse management system.
· Investigate stock discrepancies and resolve operational issues.
· Train employees and ensure that standard operating procedures are followed.
· Maintain a safe, clean and well-organised warehouse.
· Ensure compliance with company procedures and health and safety requirements.
· Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal departments.
· Prepare regular warehouse performance reports for senior management.
· Undertake key-holder responsibilities when required.
Requirements
· At least five years’ experience in warehouse or logistics management.
· Previous experience managing a warehouse team.
· Strong knowledge of fulfilment, inventory control and inbound and outbound operations.
· Good experience using warehouse management systems.
· Experience managing warehouse KPIs, staffing and operational costs.
· Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
· Good written and spoken English.
· Ability to communicate professionally in Mandarin or Cantonese with Chinese-speaking customers and business partners.
· Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends when required.
· Right to work in the United Kingdom.
Experience in e-commerce fulfilment, Amazon/eBay operations or reverse logistics would be advantageous.
Working Hours
· Monday to Friday
· Occasional weekend availability
· Candidates must be available between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm
· 20 hours guaranteed, with the opportunity to work 40+ hours per week

Salary: £3,600–£3,800 per month
