Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Bricklayer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and restoring structures using bricks, stones, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate construction.
- Prepare surfaces and foundations by leveling, cleaning and setting up support structures as needed.
- Use hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, levels, and plumb bobs to lay bricks or stones precisely.
- Operate power tools including mixers, drills, saws, and grinders safely and effectively to facilitate masonry work.
- Mix mortar or concrete according to specifications to ensure proper adhesion and structural integrity.
- Construct walls, partitions, facades, chimneys, arches, and other masonry features with attention to detail and safety standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in bricklaying or masonry work with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Familiarity with hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, levels, and plumb bobs is essential.
- Ability to operate power tools safely for mixing mortar or cutting bricks and stones.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
