The Role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Multi-Skilled Worker to join our growing team. The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of planned and reactive maintenance works across residential and public sector properties on behalf of local authority clients.
This is a varied role requiring excellent trade skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general building maintenance and repairs.
- Complete work across multiple trades including:
- Carpentry
- Plastering (patch repairs)
- Tiling
- Painting and decorating
- Basic plumbing
- Basic brickwork and groundworks
- Diagnose defects and complete repairs efficiently.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
- Maintain excellent communication with tenants, residents, and client representatives.
- Complete job documentation accurately using handheld devices where required.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
- Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and well maintained.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in a multi-trade maintenance role.
- Strong carpentry skills with competency across other trades.
- Experience working in occupied domestic properties.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
Desirable
- Experience working on local authority or social housing contracts.
- CSCS Card.
- Asbestos Awareness.
- PASMA or IPAF certification.
- First Aid qualification.
