About the Role
Kashmir Integrated Business Services is looking for an experienced Business Operations Manager to join our team in Croydon. This role is responsible for overseeing daily business operations, improving internal processes, coordinating cross functional activities, and ensuring that teams deliver consistent and efficient results.
You will work closely with department managers, support teams, clients, and senior leadership to improve service delivery, monitor performance, and resolve operational issues. The successful candidate will combine strong organisational skills with practical experience in business administration, team coordination, performance management, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management: Oversee daily business activities and ensure that operational processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed deadlines.
Process Improvement: Review existing procedures and introduce practical improvements that increase productivity, reduce delays, and improve service quality.
Team Coordination: Coordinate activities across administration, customer service, logistics, finance, human resources, and other support functions.
Performance Monitoring: Track operational targets, service levels, productivity measures, and key performance indicators.
Resource Planning: Support workforce planning, workload allocation, scheduling, and the effective use of business resources.
Project Management: Plan and coordinate operational projects from initial preparation through implementation, monitoring, and completion.
Stakeholder Management: Work with department heads, clients, suppliers, and internal teams to understand requirements and resolve operational concerns.
Reporting: Prepare regular operational reports, performance summaries, management updates, and recommendations.
Budget Support: Monitor operational expenditure, review costs, and support managers with budget planning and financial control.
Policy Implementation: Ensure that employees follow company policies, standard operating procedures, and internal control requirements.
Service Delivery: Monitor the quality and consistency of services provided to clients and internal departments.
Risk Management: Identify operational risks, service failures, resource constraints, and process weaknesses before they affect business performance.
Supplier Coordination: Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers to ensure reliable and cost effective support.
Compliance Support: Maintain accurate records and ensure that operational activities follow relevant legal, contractual, and company requirements.
Team Development: Support supervisors and team members through coaching, performance feedback, training, and clear operational guidance.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in business operations, administration, service delivery, project coordination, or a related field.
Management Background: Previous experience supervising staff, coordinating departments, or managing operational projects.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Management, Finance, or a related discipline is desirable.
Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of process management, performance monitoring, resource planning, customer service, and business support functions.
Leadership Skills: Able to organise teams, delegate responsibilities, establish priorities, and maintain accountability.
Analytical Ability: Comfortable reviewing operational data, identifying performance issues, and recommending practical improvements.
Communication Skills: Able to communicate clearly with employees, managers, clients, suppliers, and senior stakeholders.
Organisation: Capable of managing several priorities, deadlines, meetings, reports, and operational requirements at the same time.
Technology: Confident using spreadsheets, reporting systems, business software, customer management platforms, and productivity tools.
Problem Solving: Able to respond calmly to operational issues and make practical decisions in a changing business environment.
Commercial Awareness: Understands how operational efficiency, costs, service quality, and customer satisfaction affect overall business performance.
Professional Approach: Demonstrates reliability, confidentiality, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Pay: £37,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
