Account Director
This is a site-based role, with Cambridge and Macclesfield as the primary locations. Regular travel will be required across the wider UK portfolio, including sites in Luton, London, Liverpool, and other key locations.

We are seeking an experienced and people-focused Account Director to lead a high-profile pharmaceutical account across the UK.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, client engagement, and service innovation across a complex, multi-site environment. The role has a strong focus on workplace services, including food and hospitality-led services alongside soft FM delivery, within both regulated and non-regulated environments.
We are looking for a customer-centric leader with a strong background in workplace experience and food or hospitality services, who can lead from the front, build high-performing teams, and deliver outstanding service standards across a diverse portfolio.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and deliver the UK account strategy in line with client and business objectives

Drive service excellence across workplace, food, and soft services, ensuring a high-quality customer experience

Build strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders at all levels

Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams across multiple locations

Create a cohesive and engaged culture across a geographically dispersed workforce
-
Drive transformation, innovation, and continuous improvement across the account

Ensure high standards of compliance, quality, health & safety, and governance

Manage financial performance, including full P&L accountability and commercial growth

Work closely with central and global teams to ensure aligned and consistent service delivery

Identify and deliver opportunities for innovation, service enhancement, and organic growth
What We’re Looking For
-
Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-site accounts with P&L responsibility (£20m+)

Strong background in workplace services and soft FM, with clear experience in food, hospitality, or customer-facing environments
-
Experience delivering services within GMP or highly regulated environments (pharma or life sciences preferred)

A strong, visible leader with a track record of building engaged, high-performing teams

Proven ability to drive customer experience and service excellence across complex organisations

Experience leading teams through change, transformation, and growth

Commercially minded with strong financial and operational acumen

Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
