We are looking for experienced and professional Class 1 and Class 2 HGV Moffett Drivers to join our growing transport operation.
The role will involve the safe collection and delivery of goods throughout the UK, using a vehicle-mounted Moffett forklift to complete deliveries at customer premises and sites.
We are particularly interested in drivers with experience in building materials, timber, roofing, construction products, palletised goods or similar multi-drop work.
The Role
- Class 1 artic or Class 2 26-tonne rigid driving, depending on licence and role
- Operating a vehicle-mounted Moffett forklift
- Multi-drop and single-drop deliveries
- Safe loading, securing and unloading of goods
- Delivering directly to customer premises and construction sites
- Carrying out daily vehicle and Moffett safety checks
- Completing delivery paperwork and PODs
- Maintaining high standards of vehicle care and presentation
- Providing professional and helpful customer service
- Complying with drivers’ hours, Working Time Directive and company procedures
Class 2 Position
Our Class 2 role will primarily involve 26-tonne rigid Moffett delivery work.
This is expected to be predominantly Monday-Friday daytime work, with the driver returning home following completion of the day’s route wherever operationally possible.
Nights out may be required depending on the work, with a separate night-out allowance paid where applicable.
Class 1 Position
Our Class 1 role will involve artic and Moffett-equipped trailer work, including longer-distance deliveries.

Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital tachograph card
- Good understanding of drivers’ hours and road transport regulations
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Professional attitude towards vehicles, equipment and customers
Moffett/vehicle-mounted forklift experience and certification is strongly preferred.
Relevant experience within building materials, timber, construction, merchant deliveries or similar work would be advantageous.
