Essential Requirements

- Be comfortable carrying out physically demanding work in a hot, noisy manufacturing environment.

- Be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
Previous experience in a foundry, engineering, metals, manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

The Role
Working as part of our production team, you will carry out a variety of process operations to ensure castings are finished safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
You'll receive full training and work with experienced colleagues while operating specialist foundry equipment and maintaining high production and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Koyama and feedline grinding machines safely and efficiently.
- Carry out fettling, grinding and gauging of castings to required specifications.
- Perform inspection activities to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Operate the Heat Treatment Mesh Belt process.
- Complete daily, weekly and monthly equipment and process checks.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Follow all company health & safety, quality and production procedures.
- Work effectively with colleagues to achieve production targets.
