Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Community Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing comprehensive pharmaceutical services within the community setting, ensuring safe and effective medication use. Duties
- Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards
- Providing expert advice on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions to patients
- Ensuring Pharmacy First consultations are appropriate and completed
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimise patient treatment plans
- Managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records of all pharmaceutical transactions
- Educating patients on health and wellness topics, including lifestyle modifications and preventive care
- Ensuring the pharmacy environment adheres to health and safety regulations at all times
- Participating in community health initiatives and outreach programmes as required
Requirements
- Fully qualified Pharmacist registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or equivalent regulatory body
- Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting is desirable
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining collaborative relationships with healthcare teams
- Organised, detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving abilities
- A proactive approach to continuous professional development and staying current with pharmaceutical advancements

Pay: From £42,000.00 per year
