Alpha Products UK is seeking a talented Senior DevOps Engineer in London to drive cloud infrastructure automation, build robust CI/CD pipelines, and enhance platform reliability across our product suite. Working alongside cross-functional engineering teams, you will scale our cloud deployment capabilities and ensure security and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision, manage, and scale cloud environments using Terraform and automated configuration tools.
- CI/CD Pipeline Automation: Build, maintain, and optimize deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Deploy and manage microservices using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) in high-availability environments.
- Monitoring & Observability: Implement proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce DevSecOps practices, Zero Trust security controls, and regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, UK GDPR).
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or Infrastructure Specialist.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS or Azure public cloud platforms and Terraform.
- Strong background in container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Go.
- Desirable: AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) credentials.
