Looking for reliable and experienced self-employed mobile cleaners with their own vehicle to support our growing portfolio of cleaning work across Inner and Greater London.
We have regular overflow work available, with assignments offered based on your location, availability and experience.
Occasional work may also be available in Essex, although accepting Essex assignments is not mandatory.
This is a flexible, self-employed position. You will be able to accept or decline individual assignments depending on your availability.
Types of cleaning work:
- Standard commercial and residential cleaning
- Deep cleaning
- End-of-tenancy and move-in/move-out cleaning
- Post-construction and builders cleans
- One-off and overflow cleaning cover
Pay and expenses
- £14 per hour when transporting and using equipment provided by Koala Cleans
- £16 per hour when using your own professional cleaning equipment
- 45p per mile for approved job-related mileage
- ULEZ and Congestion Charge costs reimbursed where applicable to an accepted assignment
- Regular work available, although hours will vary depending on client demand
Full payment arrangements, equipment requirements and reimbursable travel expenses will be confirmed before each assignment.
Requirements
- You must have your own reliable car or van
- Full valid UK driving licence
- Appropriate vehicle insurance, including business use where required
- Previous professional cleaning experience
- Authorised to work in the UK
- Able to communicate confidently in English
- Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently and follow client instructions
- Comfortable transporting cleaning equipment between assignments
- Smartphone with access to WhatsApp and navigation
- Willing to provide before-and-after photographs and complete attendance records when required
- Public liability insurance or willingness to obtain it
- Registered or willing to register as self-employed with HMRC
