Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Cocktail Bartender to join our vibrant team at Daffodil. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages in a lively hospitality environment. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety and responsible serving practices. Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails and beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their visit
- Ensure all drinks are prepared in accordance with health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately
- Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth service
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote special offers or events
- Adhere strictly to licensing laws regarding the sale of alcohol and responsible service practices
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, particularly within bars or restaurants, is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety regulations relevant to beverage preparation and service
- Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients accurately
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain professionalism under pressure
- Personal qualities such as friendliness, attentiveness, and adaptability are essential for success in this role
Pay: £12.71-£17.85 per hour
