The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled freelance Google Business Profile Specialist to join our contractor network. You'll be responsible for creating, optimising and managing Google Business Profiles for businesses across a range of industries. We're looking for someone who understands local search, can improve visibility in Google Maps and local search results, and is committed to delivering measurable improvements for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Create and optimise Google Business Profiles.
- Audit existing Google Business Profiles and identify improvement opportunities.
- Optimise business information, categories, services and attributes.
- Write keyword-focused business descriptions and service information.
- Optimise photos, posts, products and service listings.
- Implement local SEO best practices to improve visibility.
- Monitor profile performance and provide recommendations for continued growth.
- Advise on review generation and reputation management strategies.
- Resolve profile issues where possible, including duplicate listings and optimisation errors.
- Communicate professionally with the Armada Growth team throughout each project.
Requirements
- Proven professional experience managing and optimising Google Business Profiles.
- Strong understanding of local SEO and Google Maps ranking factors.
- Experience improving local search visibility for businesses.
- Knowledge of Google Business Profile features, updates and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent written English and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console or other reporting tools is desirable.
