Ryans Solicitors Limited is an established and expanding litigation practice specialising in consumer and commercial litigation. With significant investment in the business and ambitious growth plans across several practice areas, we are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our pension team.
This role will suit someone who has recently undertaken the BPC course and is looking for experience to bolster their chances of securing a pupillage or an equally strong candidate with a LLB or LLM with excellent research and drafting skills who is seeking experience with a view to gaining a training contract.
The role will require the Paralegal to
- Engage with client in order to provide updates.
- Prepare witness statements.
- Draft correspondence and pleadings.
- Update case management systems.
- Prepare Excel spreadsheets.
- Conduct legal research across a number of jurisdictions.
Desirable
- Experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role (not essential).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with strong IT skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all work produced.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
