Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of customer service
- Take orders accurately and process payments using the bar’s point-of-sale system
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age in accordance with food safety regulations
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables or bar counters as needed during shifts
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including specials and new products
- Follow health and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong understanding of safety standards and responsible serving practices
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to serve customers courteously and efficiently
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
- A personable attitude with a genuine interest in delivering outstanding customer service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or special events as required
