Operational Support / Finance Administrator (Part-Time)
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operational Support / Finance Administrator to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis (up to 24 hours per week).
This is a varied and hands-on role that combines finance administration with operational and general business support. You will work closely with the Head of Operations and Directors, playing a key role in keeping both financial processes and day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounts
- Maintain accurate financial records, including processing invoices, expenses, and payments
- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure all financial data is recorded correctly
- Monitor accounts receivable, chase outstanding payments, and manage debtor communications
- Support payroll processes, including checking employee clock-in/out records
- Reconcile financial data and assist with reporting where required
- Respond to finance-related queries from customers, suppliers, and internal teams
Operational & Administrative Support
- Provide day-to-day support to the Head of Operations and Directors
- Act as a key point of contact for client queries (domestic and commercial)
- Assist with stock ordering and coordination for staff and site requirements
- Complete Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PPQs) and general form filling
- Support onboarding processes, particularly payroll and employee documentation
- Carry out PA-style administrative duties including scheduling and document preparation
- Support customer retention by maintaining strong client relationships
- Assist with general administrative tasks across the business as needed
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a finance or accouts administration role
- Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and financial processes
- Experience with accounting software (Xero preferred but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload
- Confident communicator, able to handle client and internal queries professionally
- Flexible, proactive, and willing to support across different areas of the business
- High level of discretion when handling sensitive information
