About the role
Are you an experienced project engineer who enjoys turning complex technical challenges into successful project delivery? As Senior Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and execution of strategic and manufacturing projects within our MMA business.
You will manage projects throughout the full project lifecycle, bringing together engineering, commercial, EHS, and project management requirements. Leading multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, effectively, and in line with Mitsubishi Chemical Group standards and business objectives.
What you will do
You manage and deliver strategic and manufacturing projects through all phases of project development and execution, ensuring successful delivery against agreed objectives.
You lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, bringing together the right expertise to identify challenges, develop solutions, and ensure effective implementation.
You ensure projects are executed in accordance with Mitsubishi Chemical Group and regulatory EHS standards, embedding safety and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
You apply sound engineering, commercial, and project management principles to support effective decision-making and deliver sustainable project outcomes.
You proactively manage project priorities, risks, stakeholders, and technical requirements, ensuring alignment between project objectives and wider business needs.

What you bring
You bring significant experience in project engineering and project management within a manufacturing, chemical, process, or similarly complex industrial environment.
You have a strong engineering background and experience managing projects across multiple phases, from early development and design through to execution and completion.
You are confident leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating different technical disciplines, stakeholders, and external partners.
You combine strong technical and commercial judgement with a thorough understanding of EHS requirements and safe project execution.
You are an effective communicator and collaborative problem solver who takes ownership, manages competing priorities, and is comfortable operating in a complex international organization.
