We are looking for a committed Registered Manager to lead our Ofsted-regulated children’s residential home, providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for young people aged 12 to 17 with emotional and behavioural needs.

About the Role
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, quality, and operational performance of the home, including:
- Providing high-quality, child-centred care in line with Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015
- Leading, supporting, and developing a strong staff team
- Ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies, care plans, and risk assessments
- Promoting positive outcomes in education, health, and emotional wellbeing
- Creating a warm, structured, and stable environment for children
- Managing budgets and resources effectively
- Maintaining accurate records, reports, and liaising with external agencies, including local authorities and social workers
- Preparing for and leading Ofsted inspections
What We’re Looking For Essential:
- Level 4+ Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (England)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role in a children’s residential setting
- Sound knowledge of Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and child protection procedures
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Ability to build trust and provide consistent boundaries and support to young people
- A strong commitment to trauma-informed, child-centred care
Desirable:
- Full UK driving licence
- Therapeutic or trauma-informed care training
