Two Female Support Workers Required – Weekend Role, Ashington
We are looking for compassionate and resilient two female Support Workers to provide 2:1 weekend support for an 18-year-old young man, at his accommodation in Ashington.
He has complex needs including severe learning disability, autism, ADHD, OCD and was born with a cleft lip and kink in his windpipe which presents as a choking risk. He is non-verbal and requires constant supervision to keep him safe, as he has no awareness of danger and is a significant flight risk. He can display unpredictable behaviours, so a calm, confident and patient approach is essential.
This role involves full support with personal care, meals, medication, and engaging Jack in safe activities.
Due to his strength and needs, 2:1 support is always required.
